Bought an '04 GTX 4-tec. was told it was the supercharged 185 hp model. turns out it is the standard GTX 4-tec with the 155 hp. I love the Sea Doo. But i paid supercharged price for a standard model. My first one, but I know better now. Would still like to get ahold of the guy that did this. They went out of the way to have limited stickers placed on the Sea Doo. I hope Karma gets the guy. May whatever he did with my money burn him bad.

Wow! Actually put the wrong stickers on it and everything? Clearly deceptive. I would get the local police involved as well.

Dang! That's messed up. Do you think he put the stickers on or it was a mix up?

I was looking at new skidoo sleds last year at a dealer. They had 1 that was marked as a renegade (long track) but was a standard. I pointed it out to the salesman and he too was shocked and told me they come with decals from the factory. I went back in about a month later and they still hadn't changed the decals. Kinda made me wonder what was going on at that place and if brp was realy responsible for the mix up.

The old saying goes...buyer beware... I have see all kinds of bait and switch dealings going on. On the forum last year a dealer sold a regular seadoo to a member that was suppose to be a SC model...turned out it wasn't and the dealer went out of business. BRP made it good and got the member a new seadoo like the one he paid for...he had all his paper work, sales receipt, title and bill of sale in order, it wasn't what he paid for.

All was good in the end.
