W Wardkid New Member May 20, 2012 #2 I know this is an old thread but I just picked up my 1994 SPX and it has an extended ride plate on it. Will this make for a more stable ride?

Dr Honda Well-Known Member May 20, 2012 #3 Yes. The extended plate also helps it in the corners. BUT... with the person above... his issue is because he probably just has too much weight on it.
