Ugh...Not getting full throttle on one engine....Ideas?
Starts runs fine..

Its also the same engine that I super heated the exhaust on from a last post..could something have gotten damaged?

Yes.


If it was overheated... check the compression, and check to see if the RAVE's are not stuck.

Only the exhaust overheated...compression is dead on at 150 each..
When out of the water is sounds like it revs up fine, in the water it seems like only getting half of throttle.
I ran both engines when out of water and seems like only getting half of exhaust pressure from the jet output compared to the other..huge difference.
Is it possible that something melted in the black water boxes??
also neither of my tachs work so i cant give you an accurate rpm number..

Arggghh... Once again it was plugs. What would be causing this?.. A little oily but only getting maybe 5-6 hours of plug life.
