So, my 2000 RX is missing an 'i' on the plastic letters that say "Millennium Edition". The decal is not available new on the Planet Earth.

These letters are about .625 tall and .070 thick.

I've searched ~ 329 stores and have had no luck. I found one guy on eBay that was selling them for $10 per letter.

I'm thinking of making my own by making an impression of one of the existing letters, using clay or casting resin to take the impression, then using polyester resin to actually cast the letter, then paint it to match.

Should work, right?

Or maybe someone has an 'i' to sell me?

Think it would be easier to get a small piece of vinyl and cut out with an exacto knife

if it bothers you, spend the $10,
FWIW, if I found one for $10, I might shop 2-3 more stores to see if i can cut that in half, fail in 30 seconds, then immediately go back to ebay and spend the $10. I can't imagine checking (and counting) 329 stores.

Go to a local scrap yard and walk around. See if you can find a letter that you can use from a vehicle. Between the names on the cars and dealer plaques, I'd think you would find something.

Over-all, you'll spend more than $10 I would think.
