Replacing Wear Ring and ?

I am new to the PWS world and this forum has been a invaluable. I checked out the wear ring on my 1997 GTX and in pretty tough shape. Going to order a new OEM one but is there anything else I should replace or look for when I have it apart? Any info is appreciated.

Make sure the fins on your jet pump are not cracked or broke. That will mess up the flow of water

If you haven't changed the pump oil in a season or two, get the oil and do that while your at it. If your model uses a neoprene gasket, you might want to get a new one of those too. While you got it off, check condition of pusher.

Check the boot on the VTS rod, the rod that trims the pump nozzle up and down.
