i just put WORX sponsons on my '97. loads of fun. :hurray:

to gain access to the nuts inside the hull simply carve away the foam. makes things way easier.

do NOT use red loctite on the outer screws. :ack:

Hey faded, didnt u have to end up cuttin' urs off cuz they were leakin'?

i used locktite on the outer screws. RED loctite. my bad. i didn't tighten the inside nuts down when i first installed them. i was afraid of cracking the fiberglass. i had to go back and fix my mistakes but the sponsons are on and solid now. we hit 69 MPH on my '97 GSX with sponsons yesterday. it tossed my buddy abut 20 feet in the air when he tried to "spin on a dime". it "floats" across the top of the water now. the handling is MUCH snappier. it was worth it. :hurray:

69 mph??? I have a 96 GSX which is lighter than the 97 but both have same motor If i hit 69mph I'd drop a brown brick in my shorts.

speedos are dreamo meters, there cheap, and not very accurate... myabe seadoo wants you to think your going faster thenyou are? Dont kno the reason, but next time you go put GPS ur speed... probably will be in high 50s

why would i have a GPS on my seadoo? i ride on lakes. :)

my buddies all ride as well. they all have speedometers. we compare, i win. who cares? :hat:

it's just a #.

the sponsons were worth the hassle and the money. i love them. :driving:

carve the foam away.
