Wondering if anyone has had this breaking problem-
I am trying to replace a broken lever (Part # 265000041) that controls fin steering but cannot see how one end of it threads onto the tie rod, as there is not enough space to turn it 360 and the control tie rod cannot be turned from other end to thread on
the plastic lever.Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Don't want to spend labor dollars for a $6 part.
After I get the replacement part and after looking at the schematics I may try taking off the rod grommet and see if that allows movement in the tie rod to allow threading on the lever(?)
