Replacement Safety Switch?

I bought a new lanyard for my 92 SP and when I went to test it it ripped the whole top of the safety switch off.

Is there anything better that I can use instead of the factory one?

Suggest you buy a good serviceable one from Nick@westcoastpowersports.com as best to move on to Happynessville.

I have a 1995 SPX that cuts out or feels like it misses when it gets below half a tank. Thoughts?

Check fuel tank vents. Get rid of grey tempo fuel lines. Clean / check / replace fuel valve. Rebuild / clean carbs. Plenty of post here to do all this. Welcome and good luck

search the web for "marine kill switch". I got one from Amazon a while back, just needed to slightly enlarge the mounting hole.
