Replaced the stator in my 2001 GTX Di which was... fun.

Put everything back the way she was and now it won’t start? Put new plugs just to be safe as well and it is turning over but won’t start. Was I supposed to do something after replacing the stator I might have missed? Anyone ever experience this? Machine always started first crank no problem until now.

If this is the big 951,,,it's possible that the stupid heavy xhaust pipe may have dislodged the front electrical plug,,,check that it is totally in,,,feel the click...check connections,,,fuses,,,

it is the 951 Di yup!
The exhaust pipe is heavy as hell! I’m thinking something must have gotten unplugged but that means I gotta take that sucker out again! Because it’s so big there is not room to get in there and check with it in! Ahhh I’m hoping I just need to reset it with my candoo pro or something

You dont need to pull the pipe to check things just yet. Unless you left something not connected inside. Make sure your ground wires are attached. The grey connector that plugs in ignition cover should be pushed in tight. Did you remove any wires from a connector?Follow all of the wires attached to sensors on engine. Confirm each of them terminate somewhere. DO you hear the fuel pump pressure up when key is attached?

Ya I hear the fuel pump pressure up everything sounds normal I get the double beep when I put the key in and I hear the fuel pump like normal, it just keeps turning over but won’t start.

the only thing I disconnected were the hoses attached to the exhaust, I left everything on and just tilted the mag cover toswap the stator. Maybe when I leaned it over something got disconnected there?

You don't have to remove the pipe to check that plug. 1st remove the air box circlip...don't drop it!!!...Now release the carb clip at the top and push the carb forward away from you, toward the hull. Next, remove the mag side air intake, (push it downward to remove it from the rubber grommet holder, and then out of the air box)...now you will have enough room to reach in with your hand and check that plug.
