First I would like to say that I am new here so plz forgive my ignorance. I have a 96 Seadoo xp that the drive shaft is broken in, I have the impeller housing off and the shaft is boken about three inches from the slines that go into the impeller. Problem is I can't figure out how to get the rest of the shaft out. Any help would be greatly appreciated and Thank You in advance.

I guess I'm don't understand why you can't just reach in and grab it out? Is it that you can't get to it? Can you push it from the engine? Is it stucks?

There is a piece not sure what it is called on the shaft where it goes through the hull that prevent it from going back and it hits the motor going forward. Hope that makes a little sense.

You have to push the carbon ring rearward to remove the c-clip (or o-ring if it hasn't been updated yet).
