Remove driveshaft

I need to replace the rubber boot on the driveshaft. Have the I have the prop, and housing removed, now its only the drive shaft and I can't seem to get it loose/out.???? It's a 1997 GTS model 5818...Dave

go inside engine bay, removethe grey shield, push the steel collar toward the back of ski, this will smoosh the accordian boot, and at same time, you'll expose the metal snap ring, pop that off, and then undo the one clamp from the dust boot.
