Sucked up a sizable amount of rope the other day. Removed the two bolts holding the intake grate. Pulled the intake grate off, and removed the rope. I read that I should reglue this intake grate on because it might cause cavitation? Is that true?
All that is holding the intake grate on now is 2 screws, and the old glue is still there. Should I add another layer of glue here around the screws and what not? Can water enter the boat through these holes?
