Hello y’all, I have two 05 seadoo rxp 215’s
I just purchased them and one started smoking and loosing oil. I brought them both to my local seafoo mechanic. So it’s $900 to tear it down and find out if it’s just rings or some other parts or $800 with an engine swap. They can’t tell me any price until they tear it down. Is it just a roll of the dice or is there a way to narrow it down without wasting extra money if I need a new engine??
