Rebuild a cab...then paint it or not?

As the title says, after you guys rebuild your carbs do you paint them? If so, why? If not, why? Just curious since I have a few to rebuild this week.

No, because it will just flake off.

Can't hurt but doesn't typically last.

If I would paint it, what paint would you use?

An epoxy would be best but engine enamel would be fine.
