Hi, and welcome to the Seadoo forum.

WOW......It would probably be best to post your questions in the 2-stroke PWC section, and break up your questions in different threads, with same or similar subjects.

Lou

I agree. You have several questions but many have nothing to do with each other. Re-post and do so in the 2-stroke forum. And, list only questions that you feel are related to each other.

Welcome. I have a 2001 GTX RFI. Re: oil, you need full synthetic. SeaDoo sells the XPS II. It is on Amazon ($47/gal). I use Mercury Marine's Quicksilver PWC full synthetic. I get it at Wally World ($33/gal). Note: not all Walmarts carry it.

They are "low ash", not "ashless".

And for the RFI, absolutely no TCW-3. Sorry, I cannot help with the rotary gear or the oil requirements for your GTI.

Lol. Okay first of all that is not the order i wrote this post, and i deleted the ALL CAPS, because i wasnt yelking, i just cant see!! I dont get it. Sorry....thanks for the responses though!!

I was told that quick silver isnt a good quality oil for a seadoo, from the shop. Thats what got ne confused... I have quick silver and it says ashless. But good for all pwc. Thanks. I will check out wally world

Quicksilver makes two oils the one you want is API-TC rated low ash, full synthetic for ski's with RAVE valves, and synthetic blend for non-rave valve engines. That being said I use BRP XPS2 full synthetic in my ski's, for the little difference in price why take a chance.

Lou

Moving to the 2-stroke PWC section.

Lolol. I asked several questions. I "bombarded" no pun intended.. Hahaa. This page with a book and not only a book, a portion all in caps i thought i deleted was repetitive... And one of my dilemas have been finding and identifying the best oil.. This particular place which was an "introduce yourself" portion... Well i certainly did that alright... Should have narrowed my 101 questions down to the proper forum... So, i deleted the whole thing... But thanks for your reaponse! People really do go on this thing And read what people post.... Wow.. Shouldnt we be out riding our seadoos? I have issues with this, since the delta is right in my back yard, i go out everyday for a put, then again... What? Dinner? Awe. Man!!

I know... Im sorry. I just want to know stuff, and it isnt alwAys cut n dry when looking it up or reading the service manual... So i get a little jazzed and type very fast. Next thing ya know.... A book is born

This is a GREAT site. If you need help figuring out what sub-forum to get to just ask, we will help.

@Hollianne97 Wow.. Shouldnt we be out riding our seadoos?

Well, with lows in the 20s F and lake that will start to freeze in just over a month (water temp is already at 40 degrees F), it would be hard to ride my Sea-Doo. As far as I know, a Sea-Doo on ice is called a Ski-Doo!!!!

Welcome to this forum and where I shared a lot of my recent adventures with my used ski purchased this year.

Benji.

Hollianne,

I use a Lucas Oil variant in one of my skis because the crank seals are bad and it runs through half a tank or more for every tank of gas. Thus far it has worked very well. I'm planning on rebuilding this engine this winter, if I get time. Afterward I'll go back to the BRP XPS2. But the Lucas is also API-TC compatible and is half the price of the BRP oil. I still use the XPS2 in the other ski though.
