rave valves

been reading on cleanin g the rave valves, but what function do they perform on the engine ?

They make the pipe "look shorter" to the motor on lower RPMs to make it rev faster. It will run like crap on the top end if they are not working correctly.

You def. want to clean them every 30-40hrs.
