The Rfi's are different. The have a solenoid and are operated by crankcase/exhaust pressure. The carbed skis are operated by exhaust pressure

Don't quote me on that. Don't really mess with the injected skis

800's work off crank case pressure ,stock 951's work off a solenoid you cant wait for something to break then fix it and blame it on the parts ....its called maintenance .....you might want to check your injection oil s**tty oil will create issues .....and carb parts don't where out (small replaceable parts yes) complete carb no and if your gona tune your bog will your Rave's good luck you probably have a fuel delivery issue (maybe lines clogging) that is causing a bogg

Nah, I changed and cleaned and tested literally every part off the fuel system. If I had a clogged line, I think i would be ruining lean at wot. Maintenance is not an issue when your parts wear out in one maintenance cycle. Oil has always been full synthetic, either amsoil or quicksilver. And I've heard from at least two members who fixed their bog by switching carbs.

If your running accel pump carbs there could be a clog in the pump line some of them have a 1 way valve inside the line .....I have always used the synth seadoo oil and never have leakage around my Rave's WSM sells complete Rave assy's at a decent price also in case your Rave housing is excessively loose

No acceleration pumps here, and raves, housings and rubber were all replaced at the same time with oem parts.

+1 on the carbs. I have been doing this for years and done 100's of carbs and my 2003 GTI would have none of it. I did everything to the carb and replaced all parts with genuine parts and checked everything including pop off, accelerator pump and leak down. It always had a low throttle bog. I finally admitted defeat and ordered a new carb from OSD. It ran like a new ski with no hesitation or bog at all.

I'm not saying my carbs were worn out, don't know. I know every single part checked out them numerous times, still bogged. Used carbs bingo ran like a champ

Man, now I'm really excited! I forgot what it's like to ride this thing with no hesitation. I don't think it had this when I first got it, but that was so many years ago...
