Hi All, I'm a complete newbie to the world of Seadoo and RAVE valves.
In the short time I've had the ski it's never been all that good speed-wise, the last time I was out, the ski lost more power and was unable to get above about 4500rpm when under load, it would only get to about 20mph, out of the water it revs freely, it was suggested to me that there may be a problem with the rave valves sticking.
I finally got around to checking them out today and found that they appear to have been apart before and possibly put back together wrong.
Am I right in assuming that the marking "TOP" on the slide valve should relate to the top of the engine, IE facing toward the cylinder head with the chamfered edge facing down toward the crank?
