RAVE question

Every now and then for no reason that I can find, the bellow in one of the RAVE valves just comes of the plastic cap (piston exhaust) spring and all. I put it back on and all is fine for a while. When I start feeling pulsing at about mid throttle, I check again and one will be off. I have put new springs, bellows and piston exhaust caps in both, but they still seem to fall off after a while. Any ideas on what would cause this??

are you keeping the RAVE 's clean so they aren't sticking at all?

I have never taken the allen bolts out and removed the slides completely to clean, but I have always burned the synthetic oil and they never seem to be sticky at all.

I'll let the experts respond, but I'd guess they are sticking and need cleaned.

I am no expert, but I will agree with Big jake. Pull the raves and clean.
