Ran Over Ski Rope

Kids ran over a ski rope. It was wound around the shaft underneath. Took off the guard and cut the rope off. PWC won't turn over, just clicks like it wants to. Where should I look to see if any more rope is stuck somewhere? Any other suggestions?

Remove the pump, and check it out.

It could a coincidence, and the solenoid has just given out. You can try to jump the solenoid terminals to see if it cranks over.

dead battery? charge it. Dont boost it from a vehicle while plugged into machine.

I got my ski rope hung up in there last week in an I took the gray shield off from around the drive shaft in side the engine department and turned it by hand counter clockwise and the rope came out, give this a try and see if this frees it up and the other pieces of the rope come out
