I have sea doo 155 sportster. It was ran a ground on a sand bar and now it will hardly go. The engine will go but no acceleration and what it does have it is very loud. Also the speedometer stopped working. I have looked at the intake and can see no visible signs of a problem.

Has it been thoroughly flushed? Maybe you have a large deposit of sand somewhere where it cannot easily escape, like the waterbox or muffler. Maybe you should remove it and flush it out with a hose. You might have to fill it with water and rotate it like a snail shell to work the water and sand out of it. You should feel the motor while it's been run while flushing, look for hot spots. The impact of running aground may have put a small hairline crack in the epoxy of the speedometer and let water in. Just my 2 cents!
