Question about vts motor with pics

Bought a used vts motor off ebay for my 1995 seadoo xp 717. The motor came off a 1994 xp 657. The only problem I've run into is the 4 bolts coming from the back of vts cover to hold motor in place is to big for this motor holes. I've attached pics of what im talking about. Any suggestions on what if anything I can do. Bore holes out the fit motor holes?

If the bolts are in the right place, I would just make the holes in the mounting bracket larger.

Can you still not see the pics? Yeah I think that's what ill do is make holes larger. Thanks for the help!

I'd make the holes larger and retap to the same threads as the bolts. You can get a tap and die set at Harbor Freight, cheap.
