Question about riding plate and flipping ski.

I was looking on the bottom of my 07 GTX with 30 hours and noticed around the riding plate and hull black sealant (picture below)

Does this come from the factory, or does it look like somebody sealed this? It looks like it has wear, so im wondering is this something that needs to be resealed, or am I good and not worry about it?

2nd question. My ski doesnt have a sticker on the hull that shows which way it needs to be flipped back up. Anybody

help/advice appreciated

That sealant is all factory and no sticker that I know of. The 4 tecs have plenty of safety things that shut them off if you tip over. Flipping them over can go either way. The older carbureted models were more finicky.

My ski have a sticker explaining how to flip. nothing about direction tho
