I went to the parts illustration for my 2005 GTX and can not find the clamps that are shown in the picture that I have attached. Any suggestions on where to find them along with how to remove and install the new ones? I believe it requires a special tool. I was also wondering if a standard stainless clamp with the screw can be used instead, however these look much stronger.

They're called Oetiker clamps(used around CV boots on cars). You should be able to pick up the tools at any autoparts store(possibly even rent them), made by the Lisle or OTC. The latter being more expensive. They are far more superior than a regular hose clamp on a rotating assembly.

Look under the PTO and Magneto cover section of any online microfiche. It looks to be parts 42-45. But parts 44 and 45 to be exact. The picture looks to be deceiving as all other diagrams for the drive flow from left to right and this one goes from right to left--at least by me eyes!

Any dealer online will have the explosion drawings for you to look at.

Here's just one of the sets I have: http://www.lislecorp.com/divisions/products/?product=161&division=1&category=4

No problem, those pliers will also aid in removal of the clamp with the help of a small flat blade screwdriver to help pop it out of the "catch".

I would assume it is normal to have some level of clamp corrosion on a ski 7 years old used in salt water?

Yep, nothing out of the ordinary. If it's just browning(staining), try a bit of 0000 grade steel wool to clean it off. They are stainless steel, probably a cheaper stainless--yes stainless will rust. I'd say as long as the clamp is on and tight and not rotted out, you should be good to go. But after all they're not expensive-the pliers will cost you more.
