I need to grease my PTO flywheel. The shop manual specifies Seadoo Synthetic Grease.

I was just wondering what other people on here do? If I can use some other synthetic grease that I can buy over the counter at my local motor factor that would be great.

Thanks

John

I just use car/truck grease, it only needs to make the rubber cover wiggle, do not fill it it till it leaks out. I imagine I am using the wrong stuff but it is not in the water and I do it every 3-4 months, some small amount leaks out - enough to use a mcdonalds napkin waiting for a open ramp.

I just use water proof marine grease. I think the last tubes I bought were pensoil synthetic. In my opinion... and good quality grease will be fine.
