ok So I thought I found the issue..(Broken fuel pick up)..I am sure it was contributing.....so I get it to the ramp and it won't start...Then the starter takes a crap. I have learned a lesson....never buy cheap Ebay starters.... I have spark and compression. I still don't think I have the right amount of fuel. During my troubleshooting efforts, I had finally bought a new carb. My old carb was rebuilt and new N/S with 26 psi pop off pressure. I just checked the pop off on the new carb and it is 32 psi...SO now I think my pop off pressure is too high. I am hoping that is what is going on now... All I know is that when that starter went yesterday..... I was so mad that if I didn't walk away from that thing it would have been destroyed.

Sorry about the starter, I read somewhere on this forum that the Ebay starters are complete crap. I bought an SBT when it was time for mine to die. Funny thing was, it wasn't the starter, but the wires going to it... When you get your starter fixed, pop off the return line and see if you're getting fuel out of it while it's cranking. Also, if you have an inductive timing light, see if you're getting spark to the plugs. If not, just pull them and make sure they fire properly... Are the plugs new?

well I had intention of rebuildingthem but the shop I used to go to wanted like 100 bucks...Before I found this site I hadseen them on ebay for like 50 bucks shipped. So I figure I knew what a PITA it was to change it so I would rather have brand new ones in there......so I bought them and they sat in the basement while I waited for my hulls to come back....for a year....anyway lesson learned. I found a new guy who has a shop in his garage and all he does is starters...
