I have a 1998 Speedster - both engines start easily, boat accelerates and runs strong.

I have started to have a interment problem with one engine - when
I push the throttle hard forward - it will bog and not kick into max power.

It may run fine for a few hours - then the next time - I bring it out - problem
surfaces - If I run it full throttle it will stutter as it bogs, kicks in bogs kicks in.

I think it maybe a RAVE value problem - but that engine also has a very loose temperature sensor that the fitting broke - so it can wiggle loose -

I think the temerature sensor only controls the warning for engine heat?

Any ideas - of what the issue maybe??

Thanks in advance.

First... fix the temp sender before you burn up the engine. It only takes a minute or two to burn it up.

Second... clean the RAVE's and put in new spark plugs. Then... let us know how it runs.
