I thought this would be a simple. I did a search and did not find anything specific. I have been using WSM Pistons and they come with a clearance spec sheet for different Skis. The Pro-X did not come with anything. Does anyone know what this should be for a 2001 GTX DI 951?

Thanks, John

Wiseco sizes are .010 inches and Pro-X is .001 inches increments. Before attempting to order a Pro-X piston, you must measure the cylinders bore at the smallest point and allow .002 inches clearance between the piston and cylinder. I went with WSM premium setup, 1.00mm overbore. Hope I get good results. :banghead:

This Cylinders are already 1.00 over. This is why I went with the Pro-X at 1.50 over. I normally use WSM and have never had an issue.

1.5 over i thought was too much, walls would be too thin?? i would have done that but wanted to maintain reliability. i have always been told never over 1.0mm but who knows. hope she runs good for u. do you have to trim your raves more?

I was told that 1.5mm over should be fine by someone that I trust. I do know that I will need to check the Rave clearance.
