I have installed primer kits in two previous skis and love them. This 96 Sportster has the same 'choke forever' issue as the skis did, but installing a primer kit is going to be difficult due to fuel valve location and length of hoses. The question: Can a guy just install a squeeze-primer inline, so as to prime the carb and reduce choke/cranking time?
It seems like an easy remedy, so there's probably a good reason not to do it.
Thanks again guys!

Possibly a fuel flow issue? Do the dual carbs on a Rotax engine swallow fuel at a faster rate, or need sudden fuel flow changes without restriction, more than an outboard?

I can't say for sure but the few people that have tried it have run into fuel starvation issues. For me it's not worth risking a seized engine.
