premix ratio after rebuild

whats the best for my first tank after my rebuild? have seen 3, 32:1, 40:1 and 50:1

if your oil injection is still hooked up.... add enough oil to mix your fuel at 50:1. Over all (with the injection) your engine will be running at ~32:1. After the first tank, and after you verify the oil injection is working, run regular fuel.


If you are only pre-mix (no injection) run your first tank at 32:1, and then 40:1 after that.

and what is the best way to veryify my injection is working?

i just rebuilt my engine too

i'm going to pull the cam on the oil pump wide open and wait 30+ sec to see if the boat starts smoking a lot thicker
