I wil appropriately use images to step you through it!
In the toolbar above you message box, click on the icon circled in red.
There are two tabs at the top of the box that opens. Mine defaults to URL, so you would click on the "From Computer" tab if you are uploading a picture from your computer.
On the next box that opens, click on "Choose File" and then locate and select the image you want to insert.
The final step is to "Upload Files".
After you upload, you'll see a message similar to ATTACH=CONFIG]41143[/ATTACH in your message. That is where the image will display in your post.

It's most likely stored sideways on your computer. It probably looks fine on your computer, but if you rotated it sideways on your computer, saved it, and then re-uploaded it.... my guess is it will post normally. I've had the same thing happen on Facebook with images I've rotated.

Just play with the computer. We all started off not knowing anything. Remember computer do not blow up with anything you do. No one looks down on you if you don't know. I taught my late Brother In-law how to search the Internet. I went to bath room came back 5 minutes later. He already had porn up on screen!
