Craig's list...you gota love it... I did sell the Brooklyn Bridge on there...the new owner is trying to put up a toll plaza...:rofl:

Sure, caution is advised...
But a gentleman in NH sold an 02 Utopia 205 for $7500 last month. I eMailed and then called him and was told the boat had sold but if the deal feel through he'd call me. If it was a scam I would think they would have gladly accepted a deposit.
I have also talked with sellers who refer to their boat as a Seadoo, but are not sure of the model, did not know the answers to some basic questions. These are legitimate sellers, they just do not know what they have and are apt to under price something almost as easily as overpricing. The overpriced ones you see - they linger on Craigslist or eBay. The under priced ones obviously do not sit as long.

If that was a 200 Speedster for 8K it was posted on my local CL as well, knew it was a scam but emailed anyway. Said he moved to Red Deer AB Canada, 8K included shipping etc, and only need a 2900 deposit to have the boat shipped to me. lol
