Yeah, I figured I'd have to swap them. I wish one of you lived closer. I have no local shops that can work on these.

I was reading the service manual and it appears that the carbs won't work right if the cables aren't adjusted. I'll try that and swap them next.

First, any suggestions where to get parts?
Second, do you guys run oil in the gas plus automatic oil or only automatic or only in the gas and block off the oil injector?

Now for the good news and bad news.

Good news. We decided to take the boat out today regardless of the problems. As I was driving I decided to pull the choke out a little and we took off. The carb needs to be adjusted! After that we had a great 30-60 minutes of boating. What a blast!

Bad news. On what turned out to be the last run, the starboard motor died hard. It looks like the grey hose that runs from the fuel pump to the bottom of the motor sheared from the pump. I think this is what calls for oil to the engine. Well, my guess is it didn't get any then siezed so hard that it shot one of the bolt that holds the air filter support right out of the motor.

Well, I'm happy that the carb only needs adjusting and truthfully less upset about the blown motor. At least I know what that problem is. I'll start working on it tomorrow.

Thanks all, at least today was a GREAT day for all the kids.
