Plastic nut on positive starter terminal.

I made a the mistake of tightening the positive cable to much before putting my engine back in and busted the plastic nut. I am sure it’s not good to have that cable riding the metal case. What Can I use in its place?

I had a rubber o ring lying around put that on and filled the space around with gasket maker. Let it dry and then tightened it up.

Troll through the Home Depot drawers. They have metric nuts and bolts. The plumbing stuff may have what you need. Fastener places around the City may be able to help you. D&G in Barberton has a lot of stuff off the beaten path. Ever need help I am in North Hill.
