Performance parts for 98 gsx wanted

I have a 1998 GSX limited and am looking for any good performance parts for it to make it quicker and faster.

Hey bud, nuth'n personal, but you questioned about "foot" padding, and "losing" compression. Think the last thing you need, is performance parts. Get ski right, make sure all is good, be familiar with it, especially if your doing the topend, if not, then i suggest NOT to install performance, because, thats one NASTY motor, to "toy" with.

Sorry for my terminology, I just didn’t really know what to call what goes on the floor. I would like to know how not knowing what that is called relates to my skills as a driver on a PWC. I don’t know if you went out and found some statistics or something but I am pretty sure that there are none to support your reasoning on that. Also what would you define the problem to be when the cylinders are losing compression? You put quotation marks around losing, so not sure if you think I spelled that wrong, but maybe you should check again. If I am smart enough to know that a loss of compression means that I would need a new piston ring because the others have been worn down, then most likely I am smart enough to put performance parts on my ski. Please grow a brain before posting random “show-off” statements on random peoples posts, and also get a life instead of going around telling people how to enhance or as you recommend not enhance their riding capabilities.

mis-understood

alright man, my posting was not to be tak'n the wrong way. This isn't my first rodeo with these machines. It has nothing to do, with your "skills" driving, these skis. The fact is, when you start throw'n some scratch, to modify them, theres "tweeking" that then, comes with it. The main one, is the carbs. All i'm doin, is, not saying, not to buy aftermarket items, but first, familiarize yourself with it. It'll run great one day, at certain water park, then you take trip with it somewhere else, and it'll fall on its face....why?
