P code p0344

Took my ski to the shop to get a diagnosis.
Pulled p3044 so I orders the new cam sensor. Put it in today and nothing.
Still saying check engine p3044.
What now?
Did I get a bad sensor? Something else?
I'm confused and frustrated.

signal missing from cam sensor, maybe not grounding. Bill

My guess the camshaft sprocket is also bad.
