I have a 05 RXT. One of the cylinders has some light scoring, it might need to have an oversize piston. Service manual state that I only have to replace just the one with the oversize. Any one ever do this?

Yes, it works fine and have done it a couple times when budget was the priority but always better to bore all 3/replace all 3 and make sure they are equal weights.

Weights can be different between different piston manufactures. At the least, have the rotating assembly balanced.
Good possibility the OEM piston made today is not the same as the OEM piston which was made in 2005.
