I have, new to me, 2001 GTX DI that is throwing the overheat alarm. It has sat in a warehouse for 2 years with no use. The pisser is not pissing when it is running and when I flushed it with a garden hose the pisser worked? Not sure what to do next? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I took off the hose from the impeller side of cooling and pressurized with a garden hose and no water came out of the pisser....I then flushed the system with quick connect by the impeller housing and water did come out of the pisser....still over heats!!!! ANY input would be appreciated....is something plugged? but what/where?
Thanks

since i have found the problem I will post it so if any one else has the same problem...main water flow to the head was plugged at the elbow .... some of the head water ports where plugged after we took off the head.... sugar white sand with maybe some sealant mixed in...no way you could flush this out had to use a screw driver ... head is %$#@ also from corrosion. I hope this helps someone.
