Opinion on RFI models?

I've got a 98 GTX RFI and several 96/97 GTX carb models. I'm only interested in keeping one or two of these in the long run. I just put a new top end on the RFI and it seems to work great. Seems easier to start and idles smoother, perhaps a bit more responsive too than the carb models, the top end is the same.

I've read a few bad reviews of the RFI models and wanted to know the opinion of the forums. If they are ultimately trouble down the road then I'll let that one go first
