I've been thinking it over and I decided I am going to fix my 96 GTX.

Now I am trying to weigh the options of buying a crank from Pro Caliber (thanks Mikidymac) and getting the top end done by full bore. 350 for the crank and about 350 for the top end because I think the cylinders are already at .040 over and they say you have to go with the more expensive Woessner or Pro-x pistons to go beyond that without resleeving. I'd be fixing it myself = no warranty and I'd have to buy all of the sealers, outer crank seals and shipping the cylinders to/from full bore. My guess is I'd probably have at least 900 in it by the time I was done.

Full bore has their winter special going on right now 787 Platinum rebuild for 1099. I'd have to pay the shipping to Full Bore and I think they will pay the shipping back + 3 year warranty.

I think this is a no brainer, but wanted to get some other opinions. I've heard good things about the work Full Bore does.

Thoughts?

I would go fullbore for the complete engine.

I rebuild mine with all OEM just because I can.

I agree with the Full Bore option. When pistons get that big around they don't fit right with the head though. I'm sure Full bore will set it up right especially with that good of a warranty.
