Just came across this forum. I'm a long-time jet ski rider. I started with a Kawasaki JS440 stand-up in the late 70s. Back then it was quite a novelty - one of the first times out the sheriff stopped me just to chat about it. Picked up a 1996 Sea Doo GTX for me and the kids many years later. Still have that; but got tired of it and recently acquired a 2014 Sea Doo Spark 90 hp. Really like it. Taking it to Florida January and February.

Also got a 1982 Wetbike about 5 years ago. I had seen them years ago, and of course in the James Bond movie. This one was good mechanically, but the fiberglass was chalky and the decals faded and worn. I stripped off the decals, wet sanded the gel coat, buffed and polished, painted stripes, and added original-style graphics. It's not fast, but fun to ride. A lot of people have never seen one and don't know what it is.

Welcome to the best Seadoo site on the planet! We have some decent info in the spark section to read up on.

If I can be of any help just let me know
