What's the best oil to use in a 2006 GTI SE 130 hp 'Doo?
I know the manual states to use the Sea Doo oil, but it states that any 10w-40 oil can be used if the Sea Doo oil is not available.
Just wondering what everyone is using in a non super charged 'Doo.
Thanks.

You can ask 10 different mechanics what oil to use and you'll get 10 different answers.
I have been using Castrol GTX 10w40 non synthetic oil in all of the 4tecs that I've serviced for the past 9 years. It works great and meets all of SeaDoos oil requirements.

Thanks for the reply.
We have a '93 Honda Civic the we bought new in '93 and have used only Castrol products and it now has over 230,000 miles on it and I have never had to add one drop of oil between changes.

Castrol makes the oil for Bombardier and then BRP doubles the price, so you make the call. Rumors are that it is identical, other rumors are that it is slightly different due to additives or lack of.
