:banghead:Hi guys,
I have a '95 speedster and yesterday I was cruising at about 35-40mph when the oil light came on. As soon I lower the speed to almost 0mph the light turned off. I do have about 1/2 tank of oil so I don't think is the level. The problem is that the light comes on every 2-3 minutes now if I am doing 40mph and I also realyzed sometime was comming on when I was jumping some small waves(or this is just me to believe the wave may cause it). Please let me know if where I should look for problems. It first started last weekend but I was racing at 50+ mph and when I stoped it turned off. I was close to the ramp and then I put the boat away for the week.

Thanks,
Al

Might just be a bad oil sensor. Search the forum for bad oil sensor and there is a way to diagnose it.

I find when I am below a half tank of oil and out playing around the oil light will come on now and then. Fill the tank and the problem goes away.

Thanks guy,
I was under the impresion the sensor is at the bottom of the tank and I am just a touch under half. I'll try to fill up see what is going on.
