so i got me another 96xp this weekend and it is so very clean and looks great, it still has the oil injection so im thinking about leaving it on this one i am on premix on my other ski but it drinks oil like i do water lol so anything i should check i mean the ski is mint i felt all the little hoses and main oil lines and everything feels good and it seems to be working smoothly the filter dont look 2 new but im guessing there is not usually debree in oil. thanks guys

Congrats on the new ski. Post a couple pics in the X4 thread.

Whenever I get a new to me ski... I change the filter, and the 2 small hoses in the oil system. That way, I can check to see if the injection pump is working as it should.

Thanks. It looks identacle to my other 2 lol..one I just parted out cause all the problems. Well those hoses look n feel really good. I see oil in them. But were do you get line that little and what kinda clamps do you use.

You can buy the weedeater and lawn mower type fuel line. I have heard other people say they use any plain rubber hose from the hardware store. Zip ties work instead of clamps.

I use 3/16" Tygon hose found at a hobby shop. It is used for large, gas powered models. I always have some in the shop, because I play with large RC aircraft. IF you get hose from the hobby shop... do not get silicon fuel hose for "Glow" fuel. It will not work with a petroleum product.

BUT... you can also get hose at your local lawnmower shop. You will buy hose for a weed-eater.

As far as the clamps... a good, small zip tie is all I use. The metal clamps that the factory use, is not an option. You need the special crimping tool to make sure they are put on properly.
