basically have the old problem where the seadoo would go into limp mode because of a faulty oil pressure switch.
Bought one from the stealership. Now where the heck does it go? I have a general idea where but if someone could take the time to snap a picture
of the exact location...that would be great.

thanks for the help.

Check down near the oil filter canister, it should be screwed into the block between the filter and the engine. I plan on replacing mine this year too, had a couple limp mode problems end of last season.

I believe I read a post that stated a deep 12mm socket should fit over the sensor once it is unplugged. If not you'll have to use a regular box wrench.

Im installing the new sensor. At this point, there's a fair bit of tension while turning. Should I stop there or keep going until it stop turning out right?

thanks again.

If I am not mistaken, the oil pressure sensors are put in using thread locker. Therefore, that stuff will create resistance the whole way until it is out. You should use locktite 243 (or similar) to install the new one as well so that there is no chance it can back out on its own.
