oil light

just bought this ski. 97 spx. the oil light stays on, the oil tank is full. could it be the censor?
also the other day i was riding it for the second session, after parking along the shore, i took off and about 10 mins later i got a long continuous beep. turned the ski off for about 1-2 mins. started back up, beep was gone, rode another 10-15 mins with no problems?

The long beep is your over temp warning. That needs checked befor you roast the engine.

The oil light is probably just a broken wire, or a bad sender. If you open the plug bu the sender, and short the 2 pins together... the light should go out.
