Oil light came on...reservoir full

My oil light came on this morning...checked resoirvoir and its full.....Im getting decent smoke out the back but am understanably nervous....Is there anything else I should be checking???? Thanks

there is a float inside the tank..it may have fallen off the rail (probubly not) but its worth a try..if not the wire probubkly shorted

Thanks Ill give it a look....Is there any chance its not pumping oil????

Failed pump wouldn't cause the sensor to misread, an iirc if the pump fails it defaults to fully open so there's no chance of running lean but I'm not 100% on that
