Oil in the water "rainbow effect"

Does anyone notice when they stop their boat in the water that there is oil on the surface of the water behind the boat, enough to get the 'rainbow' effect on the top of the water?

I realize this is a 2 stroke boat but sometimes I'll see it and other times I don't.

I have, usually when I tie up at the dock, after going through a no wake zone. Nothing like the smell of 2-stroke in the morning.

back in the 70's I used to see rainbows all the time.
