G girrer New Member May 27, 2011 #1 I'm new to this but I bought a 1997 gsx last year and when I went to winterize it I noticed there was some oil in the bottom of the hull. I don't know where to begin looking to solve this problem. Any help would be great and thank-you in advance.

Dr Honda Well-Known Member May 27, 2011 #2 Chances are... it's leaking from the bottom of the oil tank. The fittings are held in place with a rubber grommet, and why they get hard... they leak. Best way to find the problem is to clean everything... and start looking for the new leak.
