First, be advised that I am only a Shade Tree mechanic that rebuilt my 93 GTX engine with the help of the Forum boyz, however, in my opinion, when you need to replace a Sea Doo oil filter, it has to be the kind and type that is in your Doo. 
If someone has a different opinion, let me know.  I recently purchased a couple on ebay for $8.50 a piece, including shipping.  (saved a whole $3 bucks)
